Prescott is a small town but on these hot days all walking distances seem much, much greater. It’s a conundrum because who wants to get into their hot and sticky car only to burn their hands on the steering wheel and nearly suffocate while getting the key in the ignition? We sure don’t. We know that there is a better alternative… Hop on a bicycle!  As soon as you feel the wind on your face, you will have a hard time turning back. Whether you are riding down Montezuma from The Motor Lodge to The Square or on one of our many mountain trails (we have 450 mile of them), you will come home feeling refreshed and accomplished. Probably a little hot and sweaty but thats just a good excuse to drink some more ice cold lemonade (or a beer if you fancy). 

If you are planning on staying with us at The Motor Lodge, feel no need to transport all your wheels, as we have a great selection of vintage and newer bikes for your cruising convenience. There are even a couple of tandems so you can share your happiness (or test your relationship)with your sweetheart or a friend. Not only will you look cool but you will get everywhere in a quarter of the time and get some exercise! Let’s just face it, bikes are the coolest.
